This shirt is uncomplicated, comfortable and gets its very special character from the decorative pleats at the neckline.

The softly draped pleats give the front a beautiful shape and turn a classic jersey shirt into an interesting unique piece. The feminine round neckline and the slightly form-fitting silhouette can be wonderfully combined with trousers, jeans and skirts.

The sewing pattern includes a short-sleeve and a long-sleeve version. This way, you can sew the shirt again and again to suit the season – light and summery with short sleeves or as a versatile basic for autumn and winter with long sleeves.

Two options for the pleats

The pleats at the neckline can be worked in two different ways.

In the classic version, the pleats are folded and secured at the neckline. This creates soft, loosely falling pleats.

Alternatively, the pleats can be sewn together a little way down and then ironed into shape. This makes them appear more defined and gives the neckline a slightly different look.
